WFC invited to IFC/EMPEA Global Private Equity Conference

WFC attended IFC’s 13th Annual Global Private Equity Conference in association with EMPEA held in Washington D.C. - the largest and most comprehensive gathering across the globe of practitioners active in emerging markets private equity.WFC attended the conference for the first time as per EMPEA’s invitation. 

The Emerging Markets Private Equity Association (EMPEA) is an independent, global membership association whose mission is to catalyze private equity and venture capital investment in emerging markets. EMPEA’s 250+ members include the leading institutional investors and private equity and venture capital fund managers across developing and developed markets.   

Over the two days of the conference, renowned experts and key industry players from around the globe were engaged in thought-provoking discussions, debates and analysis around the theme of the New Investment Climate in Emerging Markets. The conference attendees identified which markets and sectors present the most compelling investment thesis, merit increased focus, as well as explained how investors can best mitigate risks and position themselves to maximize returns in a most efficient way.
